Close Enough: The Stillness (2025)

Two strangers meet under an umbrella during a passing rainstorm. With little space and no words exchanged, a quiet gesture bridges the distance between them. if only for a moment.

Close Enough is a dialogue-free short film that explores how even brief proximity can convey unspoken warmth. It captures a small, unnoticed moment of humanity felt more than told.

Close Enough was born from a simple question: “Can a gesture speak louder than a conversation?”

This film isn’t about events. It’s about presence. Two strangers. One moment. And a moment that meant nothing, yet left something behind. I deliberately kept the narrative minimal and the visuals subdued, to let the audience find emotion in silence. It’s an attempt to celebrate everyday humanity — the kind that’s easy to miss, but quietly beautiful. If this film makes someone pause and feel something still, quiet, and real, then it has done its job.
